In the context of the European Heritage Days, the SINCERE project organized an online dialogue between the Neoclassical School in Rhodes (Greece) and the Museum+ in Ostrava (Czechia).

This playful event took place on 27 September 2024, and it was a first step toward the creation of a digital platform that aims to connect cultural heritage buildings across Europe to share their needs, knowledge, and vision.

The success of this event, motivated the SINCERE researchers to reconsider the original strategy to build a "simple" platform collecting such stories, the building-stories platform, as originally planned.

More specifically, it was decided to upgrade the idea of buildings impersonation to a thorough citizen science methodology, and dedicate a separate web page (this!) to guidelines and examples of engaging citizens in this inspiring and playful activity, branded as "Talking Buildings".

This allows the building stories platform to capture more than just the impersonation attempts but a wider spectrum of posts on the renovation of cultural heritage buildings.

Although a little more complicated to explain in theory, the practice will be the one to give their identity to these two platforms and you are welcome to become part of the process!
